Everything was amazing! The drive way gives a real country house feel, and the river and the bridge just set everything off! I arrived 20 minutes early and Conor was welcoming and allowed me to check in early. He gave me some great tips on where to visit to avoid the crowds and bad parking, beautiful scenery and coffee. He also recommended local family run restaurants too. The conversation was lovely. The room was immaculate, very clean - you can't fault them. I slept extremely well and the sound of the river on the property was gorgeous - Very therapeutic! Breakfast was so tasty, I'm a big fan of bread and was delighted to hear that Bridget makes her own, along with the jam, marmalade, honey, yoghurt and cheeses. One of the staff (I'm sorry, i can't remember her name) took my cooked breakfast order and was out in no time with it to me. Bridget was a lovely host and really took the time to check in with everyone over Breakfast and to make sure no one in the dining room wanted for anything. Beautiful, positive lady. I couldn't get over it when she told me that she cycles the Ring of Kerry every year - I nearly fell off my chair! A great lady. I believe deer frequent the gardens, though I wasn't lucky enough to see them on my visit. Check out was as easy as the check in, and I only wish I had the time to stay longer! I will be back - if Conor and Bridget will have me!

Das Frühstück war fantastisch und wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail frisch zubereitet. Die Gastgeber waren sehr lieb und haben wertvolle Tips für Sehenswürdigkeiten auf dem weitern Weg, aber auch super Tips für Abendessen gegeben.

Die Dusche hatte keine Wand / keinen Vorgang, sodass man immer das halbe Bad unter Wasser gesetzt hat. Die Lüftung im Bad hat auch nicht ausreichend funktioniert, sodass man bereits Anzeichen von Schimmel an der Decke erkennen konnte.
