Das Restaurant war lecker und das Personal im Service ganz nett.

Preis-Leistung stimmt gar nicht - Zimmer für über 500CHF sind alt, verbraucht, ohne Wasser und ohne TV. Alles in diesem Hotel kostet extra so zB ein Schirm zum leihen oder ein Cappuccino beim Frühstück. Schade!

The location, views, history, and overall atmosphere are absolutely unbeatable. However, the hotel is in need of renovation, particularly the carpets and bathrooms. The amenities also fell short of expectations for this price range. There was no mini fridge, complimentary water (or explanation that tap water is drinkable) or even a basic vanity kit. Since there are no convenience stores nearby, this became quite inconvenient. Another disappointment was the breakfast service. On several occasions, kitchen staff began clearing plates, utensils, and food 10–15 minutes before the official end of breakfast, which felt rushed and unwelcoming. While the setting is truly unique, if there were a comparable hotel in the same price range, I would likely choose that option instead.

Extremely convenient location to train and ferry services. A comfortable hotel and restaurant had a good vegan dinner option

No telephone to contact the reception at night has to walk there at 11.30 to get anything Poor light in rooms No one cleaned bathrooms and bins were still full when we came back No one replaced the used tea bags and creamer Overrated hotel only charging for location

A truly wonderful stay. The breakfast alone was exceptional in every detail, from the fresh flowers on the tables to the beautifully curated selection of breads from local bakeries. The strawberry and ginger shots were a delightful touch that set the tone for the day. Someone clearly takes great pride in getting the small things right, and it shows. The location is simply unbeatable, and the room, though compact, was cosy, spotlessly clean, and felt genuinely homey, with a lovely view over the port. The kind of place that feels personal rather than generic. We will be back.

The price. It was as I was reserving a room on Manhattan.
