The Airds Hotel and Restaurant

Preset quantities of muesli/ yoghurt/ fruit were very small and it was a lot of work for staff delivering the portions to the guests. A buffet style for these items I feel would be better. The evening meal was superb and The hotel staff were so friendly from the minute we arrived. Our room was an excellent size with a beautiful view over the loch. Would definitely rent to people and hope to come back

Breakfast

Great view with the water in front of the hotel, very peaceful and relaxing area. Parking at the location was very convenient. Everything was very clean. The personnel was very warm and friendly. They have a good chef, the food in their restaurant was very good (but also pricey).

Their breakfast strategy: you are asked a day before to pick from a list what you want to eat (2 things only) and drink, and at what hour, and they will prepare it for you. I understand that they want to avoid waste, but it feels very strict. You need to ask every time if you want a little bit of extra jam or one more egg. They need to prepare it for you then, and you don’t feel like asking all the time. You want yogurt with muesli, and a tiny portion of it will be waiting for you. If you or your child want fruity yogurt, there’s none. Maybe that’s ok for many people, I personally didn’t enjoy the breakfast part much.

Absolute gem in the cute little village of Port Appin. Beautiful room with a view over the Loch and the grazing sheep. The staff were an absolute treat and the breakfast was truly amazing!

Excellent location, spacious comfortable room, very good breakfast and dinner, good drinks selection, very helpful staff.

We stayed 2 nights but after first night bed was not made and room not tidied. Permanently locked front door was inconvenient.

The situation was stunning, the rooms were comfortable with lots of storage space and the food was excellent.

Super miejsce. Personel bardzo miły. Pokój z widokiem na wodę bardzo ładny i czysty. Śniadanie bardzo smaczne Jedno z najlepszych miejsc w jakich byłem.

Prijeten podeželski hotel na zahodni obali. Sicer nisem preverjal, ampak mi je deloval kot družinsko vodeni hotel. Okusen zajtrk ki ti ga postrežejo. Osebje se je zelo trudilo za naše potrebe> Soba je bila velika in udobna. Imel sem občutek kot da sem v hotelu iz kakšnega filma ali nadaljevanke iz moje mladosti, ki se dogaja na škotskem ali angleškem podeželju.

Nam je bilo vse zelo všeč, se je pa ena gospa pred nami na recepciji nekaj pritoževala samo je bilo takoj videti da "oprostite izrazu" da je ena navadna "fina rit", ki jo iztiri vsaka malenkost
