Rooms a decent size and clean. Staff pleasant. Nice pint.

Insufficient staff. Most staff were young part timers with little experience. All very pleasant and trying their best but when we arrived at 10:30 on Saturday there was one lad on reception dealing with a customer which meant nobody serving drinks in the bar for 20 minutes. Bar seemed to have a couple of hours of dirty glasses on it. Nice pint kind you The breakfast was adequate but the scrambled eggs had the texture of bread and were inedible. They’d obviously been left under the lights for too long. There was a used pint glass left on a corridor upstairs from 3pm Saturday until I removed it at 10am Sunday. For me this meant that nobody had even walked the floor in that time. The hotel is very dated in its fittings and style. For €175 per night all of the above is unacceptable but I am aware how difficult it is cost wise to run a hotel these days.

All perfect. The staff were all very helpful. The breakfast was lovely and hearty. The room was large, comfortable and well-equipped.

Good was good. Staff were nice. Bed was comfy.

Room was cold. Hair clips on the floor from someone else’s stay.
