"Very good breakfast buffet"

Clean, functional rooms, but nothing fancy. I didn't spend the night there in person but assisted a family member staying there. The breakfast was buffet style and the best part were the cold cuts! The service unfortunately came across as somewhat unfriendly.

"A great family hotel"

This hotel, in the small town of Remshalden-Grunbach is run by the same family that has owned it for over 100 years. The rooms have been recently upgraded, and my room was kept clean throughout my stay. The baths are modern, and the beds comfortable. For a foreign traveler, CNN International on the TV is a must. And I was not disappointed. The continental breakfast is standard European fare, and served in an open and welcoming dining room. I know the family that runs it (full disclosure), but I am a frequent traveler, and have high expectations for a hotel stay. I was not disappointed.
