GuestHost - San Nicola Clemente Private Room

The location is great, at the heart of the old city. The staff are friendly and helpful, they gave us tips for Bari: what to visit, which places to go to for food, what food to try.

The air is humid, but the apartment is located in the old city and the building is made of stone so that’s understandable. There is an air conditioner, so it helps a lot.

Very close to the beautiful Basilica di San Nicola

Dark, humid and mouldy room, no windows. Only way to change the air is by opening the main door. Squeaky bed, you cannot move. You can hear everything outside, loud motorbikes driving late at night. No warm/hot water for shower as apparently neighbours had used it all up.

Location was great

The ceilings were too low and there was no window for lights and air from outside. Glasses for water were filthy and the electricity plugs were loose. The sink was overloaded. Soap and shower gel were provided only for one day. Host was really unpleasant. He tried to blame us for all the deficiencies in the accommodation. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The location couldn't be better. The staff was very nice and helpful. Despite the negatives I was still relatively happy because of the price.

Mold on the wall and no spare trash bags. Do not book this room if you are susceptible to mold. The room was cleaned, but not very vigilantly.
