GALA Hotel Boutique

Gala was a perfect escape! The property is gorgeous. Its a historic building that was constructed in 1902. I stayed in one of the smaller rooms for a few days. Since I was out most of the day, the size didn’t matter. The last two days of the trip, I decided to upgrade to one of the larger rooms. It was definitely worth it! Room 8 has french doors that open out into the pool area. The staff were attentive and pleasant. Everyone greets you and ensures you’re enjoying your stay. Very convenient that Hera Cafe is connected to the property and you can walk over in the morning for complementary breakfast and coffee. The property is located near a handful of restaurants and cafes. A 10-15 minute Uber ride and you’re in another neighborhood with more restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops. I would return.

Very friendly staff, great design, clean and a lot of cool places to eat or go out at walking distance. Could be a little noisy since is in a transited area, but nothing terrible

Loved the friendly staff at the reception and cleaning lady, as well as the restaurant staff and the food was amazing too! The small terrace was an extra touch, the bed was very comfortable and bathtub was beautiful and the water was hot and had good pressure. And the neighborhood was quiet and had great restaurants within walking distance.

We stayed at Gala Boutique Hotel for 4 nights in June. We chose to stay in the smallest studio room. I admit that it was snug, but we really didn't mind. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Like others, if we were to return we would upgrade to a larger room with a balcony. They are much larger and have the outside space. The location of the hotel is perfect. There are so many cute cafes and restaurants within a few blocks, that you don't need to drive anywhere to eat. The onsite restaurant, Hera, is also worth a visit. It's very beautiful, the service is amazing and it is meticulously decorated. I can't say enough about the staff. They are very attentive and friendly. Hugo communicated with me via WhatsApp before my arrival, so I had no questions when I walked in the door. It was a great experience. I highly recommend Gala Boutique Hotel and would stay there again if (when) I return to this fabulous city!

I loved this boutique hotel. The staff was fantastic and their security was top notch. I felt very safe. The rooms where clean and cozy. The breakfast was delicious.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff was very helpful and great location. Would highly recommend.
