"Tranquil oasis for an affordable price"

This guesthouse is like a little oasis in the middle of busy Saint Martin. Just off the main road, but inside the courtyard is soo tranquil and cool on a hot day. The interior is Thai/Balinese inspired and very cosy. Room was spacious and not cluttered. The guesthouse staff was amazing! So friendly. Breakfast was delicious. I frankly didn’t expect anything but a coffee and a croissant (being on the French side of the island), but we got freshly cooked omelettes, some fruit, and a basket full of bread and pastries.

It was a little weird to have a curtain instead of the door to separate the toilet from the room

"Our stay made us love st Maarten even more"

Beautiful house with lovely garden and restaurant. Owned by a beautiful and ever so kind couple. If you stay here on Sunday do try the Creole brunch. And if you have time go and visit Friar's beach go and eat there at 978 beach lounge. What a breathtaking view and again with very good food.

"Just disappointed, smiling is sometimes not enough."

The breakfast was awesome, the lady who was taking care of it was sweet.

The welcome was not up to par. It seems nobody expected us. Somebody at last came 40 minutes late while we had been waiting with 2 elderly people. ( heat and mosquitoes welcome us tho). Loud music around midnight which woke us up startled. And we walked in on another guest… the room we were to suppose to have, had been given to somebody else.

What a wonderful stay we had, the atmosphere is just perfect to relax and disconnect. The cuisine from the spectacular chef (Thank you Rene!) is a must to try - incredible flavors. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Nothing to add, thank you for having us!

"Good value for money"

Good location, close to Friars Bay beach and Grand case. Good equiped rooms, with a Nespresso coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Stylish interior. We enjoyed our stay very much.
