Hotel RR 62-Jaipur City Centre Hotel

Location is perfect. Right in the pink city and closed to markets.

On the date we arrived, we asked staff if we could had a lunch box or have breakfast at 7:30am, instead of 8am, when breakfast starts. We requested because we were doing a tour from 8am. Unfortunately, staff was not able to accommodate our request.

Everyone was very helpful! I really enjoy my stay in Jaipur and they booked a super driver for me called Hemraj Gurjar who tool me to all places I wanted to visit! Restaurant is excellent too and you can walk downtown very easily.

The room was nice with a most comfortable bed. The view from our room of the fort on the distant hill was nice enough. Restaurant food was tasty and varied, served by friendly and helpful staff.

The filthy street below did not endear the neighbourhood to us. In fact, we felt trapped. Our intention was to walk to the gardens, but the choice was of either on a dangerous road with broken paving or through the stinking rubbish of the back streets.

Staff was ok, they didn’t rush us for payment but they failed a lot in other aspects. Good location. Food was good.

Staff barely understood English, there were 4 people on the staff coughing as if they were sick (including restaurant waiters) and the staff gaslit us at the end. Here’s the timeline of our stay: We checked into room 204, there was a smell in the bathroom so they used a spray. The lock was broken and they moved us to room 206. We checked into room 206, there was a smell again in the bathroom and also a smell of piss under the bed sheets. There’s a total of 4 power plugs in the whole room and only 2 were usable / working. The water was very cold. It starts out very hot for 30 seconds, then becomes warm for 2 minutes then becomes very cold. The worst part is staff came into our room and claimed it was “hot”. We touched the same water and did it 2 times and they still chose to claim it’s hot. We were flabbergasted. The shower doesn’t have a curtain, even with a towel on the floor, expect it all to be wet. There are no windows to open -> bad ventilation. The AC is only for cold air. I will let hotel staff know that we were unhappy and wrote this review. Honestly, we were not going to write a review until they tried to gaslight us instead of actually admitting their hotel does not provide hot water.

The location of the property is amazing.

I liked everything! The location was great, hotel was comfortable and clean, the staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful. Restaurant had a wide variety of great food.
