This is the best hostel I've stayed in. The host is very kind and helpful. I stayed in the purple room, which is spacious and comfortable. The Wi-Fi is good for remote work, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. The whole hostel is very clean and organized. It is in a good location and a nice neighborhood. I extended my stay and will come back.

Casa Egos Pop Laureles was one of my favourite stays in Medellín. The property feels like a peaceful sanctuary in the middle of the city—quiet, welcoming, and full of character. The location is excellent, close to everything while still feeling calm and safe. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. What truly made this place special was the owner. She is one of the kindest and most genuine hosts I have ever met. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel completely at home and treated me more like a guest in her home than a customer. Her warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail created such a positive experience. If you’re looking for a place with heart, this is it.

Honestly, very little. If I had to mention anything, it would only be that I wish I could have stayed longer. The property exceeded my expectations and offered exactly the peaceful atmosphere I was looking for.

Wunderbare familiäre Unterkunft in einem Wohnquartier und dementsprechend ruhig. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und Aide hat alles gemacht, damit ich mich wie zuhause gefühlt habe.

It was clean, the lady running it was nice, and it is in a nice neighborhood.

We feel that we overpaid for our stay. I initially booked for one person but my partner decided last minute to come with me so when we arrived we thought it wouldn’t be a crazy amount more for 2 people instead of one if we share a room… we were wrong. For 2 people for 6 nights we paid €233, we could have gotten a better deal booking 8 nights for 2 people on booking for the same room or an even better one. The only other complaint is that the rooms are quite stuffy, there’s no windows and one fan in the room, which for us was a little intense.

Le personnel a d'énormes lacunes en termes d'accueil des personnes. Sachez que même si vous avez réservé une chambre privée avec 2 places, ils contrôlent toute entrée d'une seconde personne. En plus de ça, ils feront payer votre invité au même prix que vous pour y passer la nuit. Pire encore: de jour, vous ne pouvez même pas inviter quelqu'un dans votre chambre! Ça frise le ridicule. Enfin, au niveau des équipements. Grande première pour moi depuis 4 mois de voyage en Amérique latine : aucun condiments n'est prévu pour la cuisine! C'est bien connu que les voyageurs se baladent tous avec leur sel et leur bouteille d'huile de cuisson avec eux... Bref. Offrir un service et être serviable sont deux choses très différentes.
