Fox Apartments

Close to Cavtat, you can take a water taxi to Dubrovnik. Cavtat is small and much quieter. This apartment is a pretty good size and has everything you need. The owner is very respectful and helped us with everything we needed.

The sea view is amazing. Apartment was great had every feature that was in description. We could check in at 02:00 AM. Kitchen was fully equipped. Owner of apartment very helpful and friendly. Definitely will come back.

The host and his daughter were super kind and helpful. The apartments was clean, and there was even more facilities we would have expected, like a washing mashine.

Absolutely loved the large patio for relaxing and looking out over the sea, sitting and relaxing and reading. Large apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The small kitchen was off one of the bedrooms but both rooms really large. Both rooms have their own separate balcony, one of which didn't have quite the same panoramic view as the other. No problem for us as there was only 2 of us. If you were a party of four you could all easily fit onto the larger balcony with better views if wanted. The walk down hill into town was about 20 minutes, takes a bit longer back up the hill in the heat but good exercise. Cavtat is a sleepy place with not a great deal to do but great if you want to just chill out for a week or so. The sea is crystal clear and perfect for snorkelling. The nearby coastline with the two peninsulas is very pretty for a lovely stroll. Lots of places to eat and drink.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Robert and his daughter's were excelent hosts going above and beyond to accomodate us. They even arranged for a special 18th birthday suprise cake and sparkling wine with balloons as requested by us for our daughter. It happened to be my birthday too during our stay and Robert suprised me with some delicious chocolate cake so a big thanks and thumbs up for that and totaly unexpected. The apartment was clean and well equiped, working aircon which was a welcome relief from the heat. All in all a very pleasant stay and we definitely recommend. Only recommendation would be to maybe add a microwave. Our stay in general in Cavtat was great.

The walk from apartment to center (Cavtat) can be a bit much for some people so be aware of that as it is quite steep coming back up. Parking in Cavtat can also be an issue and expensive so be aware of that. There are public buses and taxi's through taxi can be expensive. We had a rental car and did park but we also ellected to walk but as stated before it may not be for everyone so good planning is always recommended.

Lovely spacious accommodation. Everything you need in the kitchen. The beds were really comfortable. 2 bathrooms which were great as with son and his family,so a bathroom each. 2 large balconies. Air conditioning very good.

The property was excellent. The only thing was the distance from cavtat. It was fine going down the hill,but coming back up the hill was exhausting and we are a fit. We caught taxi back up mostly as the pushchair was quite heavy. The cost of taxi was around 7-10 euros
