Very welcoming staff, clean rooms, quiet area with birds singing, beautiful view with all the shades of green, delicious breakfast. Dinner was also very good with reasonable prices.

Driving road to the hotel can be tricky at night

Very welcoming and very helpful hosts, exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet location as our base for exploring the Black Forest. We particularly loved the little egg cosies during the fab breakfast. Beyond cute! Tea and cake in the afternoon was delicious and most welcome sat in the garden enjoying the sunshine and views.

The owners and staff were so warm and welcoming. The place has had a recent renovation with no expense spared. The retro bowling ally was so fun. The restaurant was very good and we loved our stay at Sonne Guesthouse.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Gudrun’s cozy gasthaus. Everything was perfect; rooms spacious and spotless, garden was beautifully laid out, dinner and drinks so nice, and breakfast was even better. Gudrun and her daugther’s hospitality and warmth made our stay the best in Schwarzwald.

Super friendly and helpful, very nice and new rooms, very safe as there is no other house surrounding the area

the road to the location is a bit narrow, but thats really the only negative point :)

I was surprised by how kind was the lady host! Buffet, breakfast was really excellent, more than expected. Room and entire hotel was more than correct, peaceful, clean

Everything was perfect. Daniela was incredibly helpful with anything we needed (and her English is excellent). Gundrun is an amazing cook and they are both incredibly sweet. I absolutely loved staying in their peaceful inn and we ate in the restaurant every night because it was so cozy and the food was all homemade and delicious. I can't say enough good things about our stay. I hope I can return someday soon.
