House With Private Place To Swim, Solitary, View

We liked the view, the warmth of welcome from Eleni and Nikos. The house was comfortably furnished and the swimming from the private place was nice. there were plenty of towels and bedding. The wifi and AC worked well and the outside furniture was much appreciated. The local Neratzia taverna was ok, but the Wave on the Rock Taverna at the other end of the local bay was extremely good.

Access was not easy via a twisty and rough road. The mattresses on the two double beds were of only average quality. Access to the swimming place was not easy. An instruction book providing more details of the house and contents, including such as rubbish disposal, local amenities, supermarkets, possible boat trips, parking in Chania etc would have been most helpful. A security bar on the wall of the shower would be useful as the floor of the shower is quite slippery, and hooks on the back of both the bathroom and bedroom door would have been helpful. The fan provided made the right noise but produced hardly any air. An electric toaster would be appreciated by British guests.
