Westgate Manor

Wonderfully friendly welcome.. The house is beautifully furnished and our room was comfortable and spacious. The food was superb.

I have no criticisms.

The hosts were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful, full of character and decorated to a very high standard. Our room was spacious and had lovely views over the gardens and countryside. The bed was very comfortable and both the room and the public areas were extremely clean. The food we had at dinner and for breakfast was delicious. There were several options available in addition to a full English breakfast although we didn't try them on this occasion. We loved the little fridge on the landing with bottles of water and fresh milk for our use. Each room had their own named bottle of milk which was a lovely touch. We highly recommend Westgate Manor as we were very impressed with all aspects of our stay.

A small box of tissues in the room would have been a great addition to the other toiletries provided which is all that was needed.

We were met with such a friendly welcome - Stuart and Kathryn made sure everything was to our satisfaction without being obtrusive. We felt valued and nothing was too much trouble. We loved the property and the surrounding area.

Nothing really - it was a characterful building, warm and cosy. We felt we were being welcomed into a lovely family home.

The property is beautiful and feels so homey. The hosts are very kind and helpful, it was a great and relaxing experience with our family of 5. And that says something with kids ages 2, 4 and 6 :) The food offered was great too, and the hosts were even able to facilitate some last-minute requests (much appreciated!).

It was hard to find initially as google maps sent us up a side road.

The hosts Stuart and Kathryn were so welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. The room and en suite were very luxurious and comfortable with beautiful views over the garden. The evening meal cooked by Kathryn was superb and the breakfast was one of the best I have ever been served.
