the restaurant offered an incredible selection of Balinese and Indonesian cuisine, and everything was cooked to perfection, and It’s an ideal base for exploring nearby attractions like the Bali Safari Park and Tegallalang Rice Terraces.

This hotel has some of the best facilities we've experienced! The rooms were spacious and modern, and we loved the beautiful garden and pool area. Every detail was designed for comfort, and it made our stay so memorable😊

We had several problems with the hotel during our stay. The main being a wedding was going on one night with noise so loud we could not sleep. Instead of providing us with a new room away from the noise, the night attendant spent 2 minutes attempting to help us and then said there was nothing he could do. For some reason he did not have access to the keys, nor did he make more than one attempt to contact someone who had access to the keys. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night to stay at another hotel. Additionally, the restaurant and bar are non-existent. For the restaurant, you need to inform them ahead of time if you want to eat and are not provided with a menu. This made coming back from our day out less than ideal as we had to then order food from Ubud, a delivery that takes 45-90 minutes. When we asked for a beer from the bar, we were told that a colleague would be getting it for us, we thought this was from the kitchen. Instead, they were getting it from somewhere in town. An endeavour that took 40 minutes, leaving us in the position where we had to drink our large beers in 15 minutes before we had to leave for town. The pool also looks like it has not been cleaned in well over a year. The images on the site posting picture a beautiful clear pool. In reality, the pool was very murky. This was a minor thing, as well still went in and, several days later have had no ill effects, but to me, this speaks to the underwhelming quality that was this property. Finally, my wife had the lovely experience of being asked if she was pregnant while we were drinking the aforementioned beer. I was going to chop that up as a different cultural thing, but after asking some Balinese friends, they said that is still a big "no-no" and very rude. Considering we have friends who are from the province who testify that they would never do such a thing, I would hope that a hotel manager would know better.

The restaurant isn’t really one. When we arrived it was not even operating. Breakfast is a very simple affair. Not the usual Bali experience.

The view of the jungle and the rice terraces...the traditional thatch roofs bungalows...the winding paths...the flexible timetable...the helpful staff. I was cooked an ayam betutu for lunch when i should have been gone...they need to know betutu the day before...but i told him i had bebek betutu yesterday and the day before...so he knew i liked that recipee of traditional spices...delish! It is raining 3.25...my driver is stuck in traffic in Ubud...i dont mind! ..in a recliner on the terrace...watching the rain... I will come.back next year! for longer! I was surprised at first by the difference with modern hotels and resort.... but this old way will disppear fast...i have seen too many disappear in 30 years...old charm! A Delighted old woman. Nenek!

The dilapidated Reception hut... I wondered what was coming.. The rest is Ok. I studied the menu, the pool... It was a bit hard to find....

It was in a beautiful setting, I had my own section of terrace beyond my patio overlooking the jungle ravine where I practiced yoga in the morning. There was also a small yoga room, and an outdoor massage room where I had the Background sound of birds to nourish my soul - the only one I could find in Bali so far! There was free transport to local spots after checkout.

There was only the one small pool at the top which didn’t overlook the jungle. Breakfast was not included. Reception were not there to greet me. I had to text in. They approached me while I was still waking up at 5-6am when I wanted to enjoy the view in peace. They rushed my check out even though it seemed I was the only one on the property.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were cleaned everyday. The surroundings were clean and beautiful. If you are into peaceful, nature trip, this place is for you

We had the wrong impression that the rooms were air conditioned. They were not. The rooms had very sparse accommodations i.e. no TV, fridge, etc.
