OYO Superior Budget Inn Bartow

It was ok

The room did not have the air conditioner on when I arrived. I arrived after work, a 12 hour shift and it was late in the evening. I wanted to go to sleep, but the room was so hot I did not fall asleep until 2am. I had to be up by 8 AM. The location is not the best part of town. I would not recommend this location for a family. The area was expecting a hurricane and it truly was the only bed in town. I am grateful for a bed, and not having to sleep in my car during a storm. The room was clean, and quiet. If the location were in a better part of town, and the air conditioner was on prior to my arrival, I would have no complaints.

The pictures are misleading. This place is a dump!! The only staff there was a guy who acted like he hated his job. The location and appearance of the place was very sketchy. The wall moulding was coming off, then the cockroaches appeared!!!! I killed 5 in like 30 seconds. We were gone in 5 minutes. The Worker couldn’t have cared less. The pool is an empty, dirt pit. Don’t let the good price fool you. No roach hotel is worth it.
