Nothing , perfect location and service

We booked and stayed 2 nights, and checked in and out through the reception. They didn’t say anything when we checked out but I got an email saying we stayed 3 nights and needed to pay for the extra night without any evidence such as their system record, just the two nights booking confirmation. I understand booking.com might get our booking dates wrong but we checked in and out with the staff. Why bother doing the process of checking ins and outs when you don’t intend to record anything but just trusting the bookings from booking.com. We don’t receive any apology for this wrongful accusation after clarifying things out (Which should be your responsibility to check first). Please do better.
