"Idyllic retreat"

The property is idyllic. We even had a kookaburra come and eat dinner with us. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the lounge and terrace had enough seating for our group. The gardens are beautifully laid out and maintained. The kitchen appliances worked well. The only sad part of our stay and something to be wary of was one of our party caught her foot under the chunky hall mat and it rolled up, tripping her and in the process of falling, she dislocated her shoulder. The nearest hospital with X-ray is in Ballarat. Other than this incident (which happened in our arrival), we can throughly recommend The Carlisle.

"Hidden gem in Daylesford."

By far one of the most beautiful property our family has stayed at. Large and spacious house, beds were so comfortable, less than 5 mins drive to town. It has everything you need!

We were supplied with firewood that only lasted 1 day (at least 4 hrs of burning) so we ended up having to turn the heater on.

Loved the home. Extremely confortable beds and fantastic layout of rooms for what we needed. Right from the start of booking, the staff answered any queries straight away and also allowed us to check in earlier than the check-in time. Thanks again, we all enjoyed our few days in Daylesford.

In all honesty there was nothing that we didn't like.

had everything we needed and accommodate all of us , beds were very comfortable , garden amazing ,location great

it was hard to find the manual for the appliances had to search for them and there wasn't any instructions on how to use the central heating or coffee machine
