The Cresswell Inn

Good location only 5 mins from main part of town, spacious room, good facilities- bottles of water a lovely touch

Could have done with a better fan, as exceptionally hot in bedroom. Though no fault of the owners, it was an extremely hot day

We only stayed the one night but Rachel the owner was so very welcoming and happy to do anything to help. The hotel is just a 3/4 minute walk to the seafront and to the main high street where you can access all the attractions on offer.

The hotel and double room was very reasonably priced, very clean and smelled nice and fresh. The bed was nice and comfortable, a fan was provided so you can stay cool, there was a small TV with freeview and Netflix, and the shower was hot. Toiletries and complimentary water, tea, coffee, and biscuits were provided. We booked a small room with very little in the way of clothes storage facilities, which was not a problem as a folding stand was provided to hold an open suitcase, there was a small rail with hangers for some clothes, and two small bedside chest of drawers for storage of items. A small folding table and chair were also provided. We didn't need any other facilities and just needed somewhere to sleep as we ate out everyday and were out all day. The Cresswell provided just what we needed, and the owners were friendly. Once we'd checked out we wanted to spend a last day in Skegness and they were happy to store our bags until we were ready to go home.

There was only one folding chair even though it was a double room for two people.

It was room only which is what we wanted as there were plenty of local places that offered breakfast. It is located on a long flat road probably about 10 minutes walk which we didn’t mind. The rooms were comfortable and very clean.
