Very good price for a single traveller.Both the host and daughter very friendly.Only 2 minutes walk from all the restaurants bars and shops.

What can you not like at this price.I chose the room down stairs:unbeknown to me 2 dogs were guarding the place I woke up went outside 2 dogs sat outside my room you can't beat that for security

The Hogar Colonial is a wonderful place to stay and I can’t begin to say how much of an amazing time I had there. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and were able to accommodate everything I asked for and more. The room is modest, comfortable, and gives a nice feeling of security. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook my meals, with a cute little dining area to sit and enjoy the food. The bathroom has warm water, which can be refreshing for those from warmer climates like myself. The rooms are clean, spotless, and organized. The tv has many channels and the WiFi is good too for when one needs to lay down and be lazy . The surrounding area if full of places to buy food, clothing, and other small everyday necessities, and a short walk away there is a shopping mall, unlike any I have been to where I live (there are people inside!!). Claret gave me a sense of calm and peace, and I am excited to return again one day. So to anyone who reads this, visit the Hogar Colonial, relax, and enjoy your time in Bogota. ^^
