Villa Tarentaal

The braai area was good with wood provided. The bedroom was spacious. It was well placed to visit the Tulbagh wine farms and was close to some good restaurants

Villa Tarentaal looks very jaded and is much too rustic for our taste.

The host was there to greet us

The environment was very peaceful and the host was very nice. The pool was amazing and the room was very comfortable

There were lots of small cockroaches in the room, which was very uncomfortable at night

I loved everything about the accommodation, the owners and the little town.

Bookings.com's inefficiency! I will no longer be using Booking.com because I have been disappointed by your service twice. I am not sitting around waiting for a third time. The first time I booked accommodation, the owner of the place called me to say that the accommodation was already booked for the dates that I chose after I had already paid. I was refunded, but that is not the point. Bookings.com had it available on the site, which means that you do not adequately update your site. The second time, this weekend we arrived at our accommodation and the owners were not aware of our booking, lucky for us they had availability and they were kind about YOUR mistake. Again, you did not update the owners, your system is a mess.

Close to town. Quiet when dogs were not barking.

The hospitality and welcome was 10 out of 10...The owners were friendly and made us feel at home instantly.Ill definitely return.

The walking path seems to have overgrown, it might be an idea to recreate a path to make it easier for visitors to find.
