Lam Garden Boutique Homestay

We had a wonderful time at this homestay. The room was very clean and close to the centre. Lam and My gave us a very warm welcome, we felt at home right away. They also gave us information about the area and Lam offered to drive us around without intruding our individual plans. We had a wonderful day with him!

We booked Lam’s homestay because so many reviews mentioned how kind and wonderful the hosts are, and they are absolutely right! Lâm and My made us feel so welcome, are full of knowledge and information about Hue and the surrounding areas, and couldn’t be warmer. Our room was large, very comfortable, and spotless, the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful but convenient, and breakfast was excellent as well. At the end of our time in Hue, Lâm drove us to Hoi An and was an incredible guide— we stopped at several cool spots along the way, and this day was definitely a highlight of our trip. I hope to return to Hue and stay with Lâm and My again.

The best place I have stayed in Vietnam as a solo traveller. Firstly, they upgraded my room as I was only there for 1 night which was so sweet. Secondly, that day I completed Hai Van pass with my friend and then arrived at Lam garden late afternoon. My friend had a night bus at 9pm, they were so kind to let my friend store her bags there and ensure she had a towel so she could shower in my room. They even helped her bring her bags to the grab later and gave her water to take. They are truly so kind and welcoming. The bed is very comfy and everything is very clean. The breakfast in the morning was incredible. They also gave great advice on how best to see the city at night and a great restaurant recommendation. Would really recommend staying here.

It was very clean .On a quiet street walking distance to Hue. Very considerate hosts , family atmosphere. Breakfast food was abundant & tasted great. All home cooked by the host.

It was the best experience, the location is so perfect, close to the city, but not in the crazy-busy area, and the hosts are soooo helpful and kind, the breakfast is also amaaaazing! Do not miss this!

Very clean, quite, nice bed, plenty of room space and hot water. There were eve. Fresh flowers in our room! The breakfast was really good , fresh squeezed orange juice and we didn’t need to eat again till later in the afternoon. But the best part was the hosts Lum and My. They went out of there way to make our stay a breeze. They helped with our visa run and made it so much easier for us. Organized our site seeing, Lum is a great tour guide and speaks good English , and our onward travel plans. Their recommendations for local food for diner were wonderful and within walking distance. Very kind and special people. Book here!

We arrived in Huế very late, around 00:30, but Lam and his family were kind enough to wait for us and check us in without any problem. His wife even welcomed us with fresh fruit, snacks, and water — something we really appreciated after a long day of travel. The room was spacious, very clean, and quiet — we slept incredibly well. The next day, we only had a few hours to explore the city, and instead of just giving us directions, Lam personally offered take us on a private tour of all the major historical sights: the Citadel, the royal tombs, temples — and explained the cultural context in a way that made everything more meaningful. Although it was a short stay, we would absolutely recommend it. They also helped us arrange transport to our next destination, which made everything smooth and easy. Breakfast was delicious, and overall, the hospitality was warm and memorable. It felt like visiting someone who truly cares. Highly recommended.
