The owners husband and wife team were the most welcoming and accommodating hosts. They made me feel at home. Lam drove me to tourist sites and back to Da Nang. His wife, My was very kind and helpful with all my requests. I can see how all their past great reviews are well deserved.

Great host and hostess, very friendly and helpful. She introduced a very nice local restaurant, Quan Non Hue, delicious and valuable for money. Room was large and clean. Bed was comfortable to have sound sleep. They arranged transportation in Hue for us.

Some day internet TV will be available in the room.

Comfy beds - plenty of room - good aircon, quiet location 10-15 mins walk from town centre Good shower, Good Wi-fi. Great breakfast - good portions Lam and My are lovely people. Very helpful - Lam gave us a tour of the Tombs before dropping us at the Citadel. Following day he did a tour of the countryside visiting market, cafe, City of Ghosts (cemetery with amazing tombs) Trip on the lagoon between the fish farm etc - This was extra cost but well worth it.

My and Lam are wonderful hosts. Always smiling, up for a chat and read to help with anything. My planned and organized our follow on travel for three days including organising a driver for the Hue area, tickets for trains and additional tours. Their homestay is sparkling clean and super welcoming. Our room was very spacious, a giant king bed inside and equipped with all you need. The Homestay is in a quite area in walking distance to the main city Center. Walking to the Imperial City is just 3 km.

We tried to book two nights, which we would have enjoyed but unfortunately for us and good for My and Lam they had been booked out already.

The hosts were amazing. They speak good English and helped us a lot in understanding the Vietnamese culture. We are quite independent travellers but they also provided tours for theirs guests….and for us a driver to visit where we wanted. It was in a safe and quiet area with an authentic environment…..in fact we were able to bypass the European part of the city…why go there? When there is a local bar across the road. Lam and My are putting their all into providing a great experience for tourists and we wish them all the best for their future

The family who run Lam Garden are super kind and helpful. I can’t say enough about them and how they assisted me with any request- whether booking a bus, doing a tour or laundry or recommending a great restaurant. They were so very nice My room was large, spotless, and had excellent air conditioning. I couldn’t ask for more. The breakfast was excellent and generous. The homestay is well situated in Hue- 10 minutes from the river and 25 minutes from the Imperial Palace by foot. A terrific little hotel and great value.

This was a lovely homestay! Lam and My treated us like family right from the beginning. Very quiet street away from the hustle and bustle but only a short walk to the city centre. Lam picked us up from the train station and then gave us a tour of the city for a very reasonable price. He gave us many options for our tour the next day.. we chose to go with him to the countryside and experience authentic vietnam culture, which was incredible, especially with Lam as our guide.He speaks excellent English and his pride of the area and his country is very evident. We especially enjoyed the Agricultural museum, and as Lam grew up in the countryside, he was able to share his knowledge of that. He then drove us all the way to Hoi An and stopped at amazing places along the way! He is very well educated, and has practical knowledge. He never rushed us and was great to hang out with! My cooked an excellent breakfast for us each morning. The rooms were large, clean, and beds were very comfortable! Would highly recommend staying here.

Staying with Lam and My is being part of their family. They will do what they can to help you enjoy your stay in Hue. Really good breakfast of noodle soup, orange juice, coffee, omelette roll.
