Already did this on first email. Nice guest house in 80s style. Lots of plastic flowers and twee effects. Eco friendly? Not really. No recycling evident. No service of room during stay, very surprised as it was not inexpensive. Hot tub advertised as as ridiculously expensive…

Already read reviews on this property before booking and they were all true. Lovely guest house in a quiet area but easy walk to bars and restaurants. The room was lovely with a beautiful view of the fells which we enjoyed on the arm chairs in bay window. Breakfast room is lovely and breakfast was as good as any we've had in hotels like Gleneagles and Old Course St Andrews and the owners couldnt have been more friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend
The best guest house we have stayed at in the Lake District so far. Can’t fault it. Spotless everywhere. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Comfy beds. Nice white towels & good toiletries. Love the plastic wine glasses which were perfect to use in the garden. Which was excellent. We even tried out the summer house😁. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. Parking was easy. Plenty of bars & restaurants close by as well as beautiful walks. We would love to stay again.
The Inn is a wonderful accommodation that is run by wonderful, caring people, Jo and Frank. The hotel is on a quiet street that is very close to a busy street in Ambleside with groceries, bakeries, cafes, etc., and buses to nearby towns. Breakfast is delicious and ample. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. My 98-year-old mother was hospitalized in New York during our stay, and Jo and Frank helped us arrange rush taxi transport to Manchester Airport for an early flight home. They did everything -- they packed up bananas, oranges, and yogurt for our ride; made the taxi reservation for us; etc. In addition, Jo has contacted us in New York to find out how my mother is doing. Branthome is THE VERY BEST!!

We had a lovely two night stay. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Ideal location just a few minutes walk into Ambleside. Fantastic breakfast and off road parking a bonus.
After staying at many B&B's in the Lake District, we truly found Brantholme Guest House to be the best! Everything from the warm and friendly welcome from Jo & Frank to the accommodation itself was faultless. We stayed in a Superior Room 3 and it was the most spacious room at a B&B we have ever stayed in and the sunset over the mountain views were spectacular. Our room was clean and well equipped with a mini fridge (very handy) and chairs.. you don't often get a proper chair to sit on but we had three! Good size TV on the wall and plenty of storage cupboards and drawers etc. The bathroom was very spacious and we had a full size bath and a separate shower cubicle. The property itself is obviously well kept. There is parking for each room for one vehicle. The property is also just a couple of minutes walk to the town where there's plenty of shops and restaurants. I highley recommend Brantholme Guest House and we will definately be returning!
