Luxury Yacht Hotel

The yacht is amazing, was spotlessly clean. Had everything you could ever need and more. Beds were comfortable. Power shower, loads of hot water. Excellent location. Staff on time at arrival and departure. Staff texted during stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Would 110% recommend.

Nothing really , only thing was planes but did not really bother us

The yacht is moored at the end of the pier for maximum privacy. The team looking after it were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. One of us had a big birthday during our stay and we arrived to find birthday banners up, birthday cake with candles and a bottle of bubbly.

The cabin locking mechanism was a little tricky but otherwise everything was wonderful.

Fantastic location and excellent service. Given a tour of the yacht on arrival explaining how everything worked . A bottle of Fizz was on ice to welcome us. The fridge was well stocked with drinks cheese and ham for breakfast .Tea coffee and cereals provided. The entertainment system is very good with multi TVs and a Bose hi fi .Good WIFI signal. We sat up top to eat under the covered area .getting lunch ingredients from The Food Co supermarket only a 5 minute walk away. ( behind Bianncas restaurant area ) it specialises in UK brands especially fresh milk . At Ocean Village you are spoilt for choice on Bars and restaurants and its a short walk to Main street with all the shops . Before you enter Main street the bus terminal is there. Its the best and easiest way to travel round the Rock. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Luxury Yacht hotel and would recommend it .

Absolutely Nothing.

It was in a good position. The deck was lovely and the guy who looks after the yacht is very nice. Of course, staying on a yacht is a different experience which is why we choose it as it was a special anniversary treat.

However, our anniversary was completely overshadowed because we spent a considerable amount of time on the phone to the owner because there had been a completely unavoidable incident with the plumbing (we know these things can happen) but he was quite obviously trying to blame us for it. A blockage that clearly had been building way before we got there, came to a head the day after we arrived. We only spent 3 days on the boat and during that time we didn’t cook - because you can’t- there isn’t a usable hob or oven- so there wasn’t any dirty/ greasy washing up. We are 4 older people all with short grey hair - the clog that was eventually found to have caused the blockage consisted of long black hair (we also found hair similar in one of the showers.) The service we received from the owner was appalling and although we were given an extra bottle of wine and some chocolates to ‘make up for any inconvenience’ a better attitude and an apology for his lack of customer care would have sufficed. We are seasoned travellers who own rental properties ourselves and we would never insinuate the guests were to blame for such an issue without proof of liability. Some of the bedding should be replaced and there was opened and used food in the fridge freezer. The continental breakfast provided was basic to say the least- shop brought processed bread and supermarket packaged meat and cheese do not shout ‘Luxury’ neither did the generic multipack of cereal provided. The cereals in the dispensers, I highly doubt, are refreshed each booking but we didn’t try them so couldn’t be sure how sure they were. On the surface the yacht looks lovely but our stay certainly wasn’t the luxury experience we were expecting as advertised.

This was an exquisite property and super clean! The property location was amazing- walking distance from the airport, places to eat and site seeing. The property was very well stocked with breakfast items including plenty of fruit and drinks (tea, coffee, soft drinks, ice). We did not have to buy anything for breakfast. The owners were really lovely - they checked up on us whether we needed anything and gave us lots of recommendations. I highly recommend this home away from home experience everyone should experience.
