Fania Apartments

Unser Apartment lag in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Wir hatten einen freien Ausblick, da die gegenüber liegende Straßenseite nicht bebaut war. Es gab zwei Balkone, einmal vom Schlafzimmer, zum anderen von der Wohnküche aus. Aus der Beschreibung von Expedia war uns die Einrichtung und Ausstettung bekannt und sie entsprach auch unseren Vorstellungen. Luxus hatten wir nicht erwartet, sondern Zweckmäßigkeit. Wenn man es dazu in Relation zum Preis sieht, kann man es nur sehr positiv bewerten. Unser Apartment wurde täglich geputzt und die Handtücher und Bettwäsche mehrmals in der Woche gewechselt. Erfahrungen aus der Vergangenheit sind, selbst reinigen mit Endabnahme!!

Alla frase:"è finita la carta igienica" la risposta è stata:"supermarket" con questo dico tutto! Poi per il check-out oltre orario su hotels.com il costi era di 10 € la proprietaria ne ha voluti 20! Pulizia indicata giornaliera... Se ha passato la scopa una volta è troppo! Gli asciugamani sono stati cambiati come le lenzuola... ... .... MAI! Non lo consiglio!

Aparthotel znajduje się relatywnie niedaleko "centrum" - ok. 7 minut piechotą (Kardamena jest mała sama w sobie, dla niektórych 7 min spacer może wydać się długi...). Obsługa raczej nie mówi po angielsku, ale chwali im się to, że wydają paragony (mało kto w Grecji to robi, mimo że mają obowiązek...). Nocleg pod dachem (na drugim piętrze) odradzam, bardzo gorąco w nocy (ściany oddają ciepło) - chyba że ktoś dokupi klimę (5 euro/noc). Dopłata to jednak 20% ceny - już lepiej znaleźć coś z klimą wliczoną (i np. śniadaniem). Z rezerwacji przez pośrednika nie było opcji zmiany pokoju na "niżej położony" - spory minus. Brak moskitier - szalenie dużo komarów (ale te z drugiej strony są wszędzie). Naprzeciwko Fanii jest "nieużytek" - trochę wysypisko, trochę dzika łąka. Przed świtem rozpoczyna się stamtąd pianie kogutów i trwa aż do późnego poranka - spory problem dla osób o lżejszym śnie. Ogólnie Kardamena to wioska, więc nie ma co się spodziewać rewelacji... Największym plusem jest cena, choć bez łaski da się znaleźć (będąc na miejscu, a nie szukając przez net) lepszy standard w tych pieniądzach.

Das Appartement hat alles, was man benötigt (auch zur Selbstversorgung). Einfach eingerichtet. Aber gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wer Luxus erwartet, muss mehr investieren. Wer ein einfaches Zimmer für wenig Geld sucht, ist hier richtig.

L'appartamento è tenuto bene e moderno. Ha tutti i comfort essenziali per un soggiorno di una settimana. Il cambio delle lenzuola e la pulizia della camera viene effettuato ogni giorno (escluso la domenica). Vi consiglio di chiedere l'aria condizionata e di tenere sempre chiuse le finestre se no entrano tantissime zanzare. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. L'appartamento è adatto alle persone che amano girare e godersi l'isola in pieno. Non vi consiglio di prepararvi da mangiare li, ma di andare in giro per l'isola dato che ci sono molti posti buoni dove mangiare.

This hotel is owned and managed by Fania (mother) and her family. The room was tidy and clean upon arrival, and cleaned daily. Everything in the apartment was intact and working, which is always a plus. The apartments have dual balconies, one to the east and west, so you get both the sunset and sunrise, as well as the fantastic Greek sun. As far as amenities go, the apartment had everything needed to cook food, plus refrigeration/freezer, water boiler, and silverware. The family was incredibly considerate in making my stay the best it could be, going far beyond being just a sleeping spot. I truly recommend this hotel, it is 2min from the bus station and grocery store, 5 minutes to the beach/harbor, and located with enough space from the main road to give you some "breathing room" from all the tourists. Also, the nearby fortress is just 45min walk each way, and well worth the hike to see a 360* view of the island. If you want more luxurious amenities, like a resort-like experience, you can go to the vast number of tourist hotels which only host foreigners, but that is not why I came to Greece. I came to experience the island of Kos and the Greek culture, and I needed a nice place to stay. If you are looking for a great deal, without a lot of "fluff", this is a perfect fit.

Huone oli siisti ja se siivottiin joka toinen päivä. Kaikissa huoneissa on oma parveke, keittotaso sekä jääkaappi. Hotellissa ei ole varsinaisesti mitään vastaanottoa ja palvelua voi olla hankala saada, mutta jos yksinkertainen majoitus riittää niin tämä on sopiva valinta. Sijaitsee hieman hiljaisemmalla kadulla, mikä takaa yöunet muuten aika vilkkaan yöelämän omaavassa pikkukylässä. Ilmaistoinnista tulee maksaa erikseen ja hotelli tarjosi vain yhden rullan vessapaperia, joten ne piti myös ostaa itse.
