Beautiful place to stay and pretty pieceful

The driveway is in kind of a bad place, and the doors in the bedroom need to be fixed. The back door has air coming in around the lock, and the bedroom door doesn't latch shut.

The property was super close to everything. We had multiple bear encounters. And the master bedroom bed was incredibly comfortable.

I didn’t like the communication with the property leading up to my stay. I was traveling on a road trip with two kids from New Jersey and specifically asked if we could get into the cabin earlier after multiple attempts. I was told to reach them around two on check-in day. In my opinion, that meant I could get in at two, which was a compromise since I requested 10 am. I did receive on booking.com through simply unforgettable to go in and update my checking time so that they would be ready for me. There was no way to do that. Everything was grayed out and when I did show up at the property at two, my code didn’t work I then had a contact the booking company and was told that the cleaner was not there yet and when the cleaner showed up, she told me about 4 o’clock, so I had no accommodation wiggle room with checking in. I also then had great communication with the property management team throughout the stay, however, there was a constant buzzing noise that came from the fireplace in the wall. I let the company know that I was just concerned about safety and they said they would send someone out the next morning. I left for the day the next morning and never heard from the company so I followed up. I was told that maintenance was there and heard no buzzing. By then sent a second video to the property management showing that the buzzing in fact was there an extremely loud. Maintenance supposedly came back out or listened to it without coming out. I honestly do not know and I was told it was just the timer and that if I didn’t feel comfortable, don’t use it the rest of the stay. I was also having connectivity problems with the TV in the master bedroom however maintenance told me that they reconnected that which they did not and so I reset the entire TV and connected it myself. I do think the price was a little steep for the size of the cabin however it was a holiday weekend and the location is incredible .

They do not clean thoroughly. There was dog hair on the beds, on the carpet, and stuck to the blinds. I paid for 2 nights but only stayed one because of my allergy attack. No refund!!! Will never rent from this service again.
