We liked the beautifully kept gardens, the patio with table and shade umbrella, the friendly welcome with a cold beer, wine and crackers and home-made chutney, the privacy and quietness, and proximity to the car ferry at Okiato, 7 km from Russell.

Set in a beautiful garden, room was comfortable, homely and clean. There were plenty of towels, incl beach towels which was great. Lovely outdoor area with chairs and table

Generous supplies and friendly host.

Second bed not so comfortable as the main one. Low ceiling. Hot at night. We requested top sheets which were not initially provided but willingly given when asked.
