Riddings Wood lodges

The lodge was lovely and clean in a beautiful setting. It was very small, but it was just the two of us, so was cosy. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub. The weather was rainy, so was nice to have that available. Spotted a few squirrels which was lovely as we don’t have them where we live.

Ideally would have preferred to have WiFi, but didn’t spoil anything. There wasn’t a hair dryer, we only noticed after the office staff had gone. So not sure if they were available from there. We were going to bring food to cook, but noticed there was only a microwave oven available, so wasn’t sure if it was an “oven” Once we got there, there was an air fryer. If we had known we could have brought food to cook.

Cosy, hot tub was great. Beds were very comfy

Could do with a few small extras provided. A tea towel, soap and maybe a couple of outdoor chairs too.

I liked that you had your own space and could make it feel like home, the hot tub was also really nice and clean.

The only thing i would say wasn’t the best was that there was nothing in the site, however there was towns nearby that had beautiful scenery. The pubs around the site was also amazing.

Hot tub was dirty and the springs in the bed were hurting us while sleeping, there was no hot water
