Batch Country House

We only had the pleasure of this stunning country house and grounds for 1 night as we added a night to our holiday returning north from Devon, visiting Weston-super-Mare grand pier and beach front the following day which is only 15 minute drive from this country house. The owners were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The Gardens were beautifully maintained with a nice koi pond , an excellent backgrounds for wedding pictures etc. Great price for a decent sized family room and comfortable nights sleep. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

I was well looked after while I stayed; the room was comfortable, the wifi good and the hosts kindly arranged for dinner to be served in my room given we were in lockdown. Thank you!

No soap in bathroom. No coffe or tea in room yet kettle had dregs of water in it.

Our overall stay was very good. Pretty hotel and accommodating staff. The only downfall was our mattress was rock hard so we didn’t sleep as well as we should.

Stayed 2 nights and it was a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds and only a short drive into Weston-super-Mare (about 10 mins). Very clean and tidy and felt safe re Covid-19 as there was hand sanitisers placed throughout the hotel and masks were worn in public areas. Paid for the breakfast on one morning and it was definitely worth the money - great selection on offer including cereals, fruit juices, toast and a full English! Room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Was looking for a change of scenery after the whole lockdown situation and this ticked all the boxes plus the weather was unusually warm and sunny. Wouldn't hesitate to return as a lovely hotel run by a friendly and helpful couple.

Great hotel in a very quiet location the staff for excellent and fantastic service the rooms are well kept and comfortable I would stay at this hotel again I would recommend it

A very nice hotel. Room was clean and tidy and good value for money. The only negative i would say, is at breakfast there were more than six people on a table (breaking the current "rule of 6" re coronavirus). Staff served the table, but no comment was made.
