Functional cottage. Great location opposite the river Dee and close to Aldi. Good parking, good pressure shower, nicely proportioned as in good size bedrooms and hallway. The kitchen was modern, and I liked the white bedding. Comfortable for up to 4 adults otherwise I think the living area would feel overcrowded.

The remote control wasn't working, and it was difficult to change the channels manually! I rang the number, which was on the information email, and no one got back to us. I also messaged them, but received no reply. I asked if there were batteries in the house we could use. However we bought batteries and got it working at our own cost. We also tried to put the heating on. This is pre programmed and we struggled to override this, so it felt a bit nippy in the morning and when we got in. There was a strong smell of drainage in the upstairs bedroom. We noted plug in diffusers to mask the unsavoury smell. The kitchen although well equipped did not have a chopping board and a dustpan and brush. Also be aware there is no garden and the A5 is a very busy road..some of the heavy goods vehicles made the house shake. All this said we enjoyed our stay and the location and weather made up for all the little niggles.

Be aware property is on a busy main road. Although no problem sleeping , traffic can be heard. Care required when crossing the main road. Parking for two cars alongside the property.

Very clean, close to town centre , beautiful views of River Dee the moment you step out of the door.

Facilities were great, loads of space for 6 people, very well decorated and lovely views. Super close to Aldi. Brilliant price and would recommend.

The shower makes a high pitched noise when used and the shower head dribbles alot. Nothing too major to dislike about this property.
