GRAND BASE Nagoya Ekinishi

Property is located conveniently 4-min walk near Taiko-dori station. It is by a big street and most of the time you will hear traffic sound by the window. It is impeccably clean and it has a balcony as well. We came one hour before check in time but the nice lady at the reception helped us to do early check in seamlessly even with her limited English. Even if no kombinis are nearby, there is a Denny's near the hotel and Denny's in Japan offers wide range of menu aside from breakfast. Uber eats is available and near Nagoya station, there are plenty of good eateries as well.

Room is big with washing machine in the room. Value for money if you have more people staying in this place.

Distance is a bit far from the main train station around 1i5mins walk. There is no cleaning provided unlike the other apartment hotel I have stayed before. Counter staff is friendly but speaks little English

Room is spacious with a kitchen and wash machine, which makes it an ideal choice for family/friends. Staff is friendly and helpful although communicating in English can be a little challenging.

About 10-min walk from the station. Check out time is 10am, a little early comparing to other hotels. And you can't leave your luggage before check-in or after check-out, so you need to find storage lockers or service places.

A very nice stay for 1 night in a superior room. Extra blanket was Y2000. 10min walk to the station. We had a ground floor room but was quiet. Lady at reception was super nice and friendly.

We had a fantastic stay, just a 10-minute easy walk from Nagoya Station, which made everything super convenient. Check-in was quick and smooth and the lady at the front desk was lovely and welcoming. Our room was impressively large, with four big beds that were perfect for our family. The bathroom and kitchen were both spacious, modern, and nicely decorated. The big TV was great for the kids and we were able to connect to Netflix so they could wind down in the evenings after being out all day. There were several restaurants and convenience stores nearby and other train stations were only a few minutes’ walk away. We stayed here mainly to visit Ghibli Park and this hotel made a perfect base for that trip.

Liked everything

The room itself was very spacious - more of a studio apartment than a hotel room, with all the facilities and amenities you could ask for. The immediate area around the hotel was a little sparse, and the hotel itself was tricky to find (we initially went to its sister hotel 5 minutes away), but Nagoya station is only a 10 minute walk away, with plenty of shops, dining options and travel links.
