Host & Stay - The Old Sweet Shop

Absolute not value at all extremely uncomfy tiniest of sofas which was dirty broken toilet seat ended up with bad back due to bed and sofas came home a day earlier due to pain

The location was good, opposite the harbour and close to the old town.

There is NO designated parking space, we would never have booked had we know. Luckily we did manage most of the time to park opposite, all the parking behind the archway is designated to the flats there. The flat info book was generic so unhelpful. Almost all of the shower room's grouting was black or very badly stained - not pleasant !! The pale blue settees were very stained. Really suprised by these conditions, so have taken photos to alert others. There were lots of problems with 'Host & Stay' Trying to get verification, multiple emails and phone calls

Short walk into Whitby.

a lot of traffic noise, on evening think it is on boy racer circuit repeat laps.

property was clean , comfortable & decorated to a high standard & great location ! will definitley recommend .

sofas x2 way too small. v uncomfortable. toilet seat not working as it should - doesn’t stay up. toilet roll holder broken new frying pan required - none stick

Nicely presented and plenty of facilities for cooking. The shower was lovely and hot, the beds were comfy it was a pleasant place to stay.
