Close to Downtown

Breakfast was not enjoyable. Food and drink was not kept stocked and breakfast station does not work for number of guests.

The Element Iowa City is in a great location downtown. Check-in was helpful and granted our request for a top-floor room. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice shower, but we were awakened multiple times in the night by loud partiers screaming in the hallway. Also, staff present didn’t voluntarily encourage guests to order from a slightly unusual breakfast system. An excellent price will be necessary for a future stay.

Horrible experience with breakfast. Rude service. Bad food. Poor food choices. Hot mess.

Very close to everything downtown.

The breakfast was excellent and the employees that were working during breakfast were very friendly and went out of there way to make sure we had everything we needed.

The weather, but that is out of your control - lol. Everything was good and what we expected; however, the only thing I would mention is that it did not say anywhere that parking was an extra cost if you wanted to park in the ramp. We assumed, but it would have been nice to mention it in the description.

Clean, good parking setup (free!) I would go back
