We didn’t stay at the apartment so can’t comment.

On check-in, we contacted the Duty management team as we found that: - Dishes had not been washed and were left dirty in the dishwasher. - Beds had not been made and the duvets provided in cupboards did not have covers. - We had booked accommodation for 4 adults, but the second room was in fact a kids room and had kids single beds in them. - Furthermore we refer to Sun Spalato’s info about hygiene, bearing in mind that both my husband and I are high risk, he has COPD and a heart problem, I have autoimmune disease. ‘Important information In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property.’ When we called the Duty Manager he suggested we make the beds and run the dishwasher. He didn’t have alternate accommodation for the night. We advised him that we would seek alternate accommodation for the night as we did not believe the apartment was cleaned and quality check done for our arrival. He promised to have someone contact us by 8:30 am the following morning. By 11am neither Sun Spalato nor Bookings.com could resolve the matter and we had to book alternative accommodation at an additional cost. Bookings.com have stated that we could not get a refund despite us providing evidence of the matter. We should have some protection by booking.com against an accommodation provider misleading guests and providing false advertising. As two elderly people travelling with our two daughters for the first time in years, this has put undue stress upon us and a damper on our trip which we saved for, for years. We also missed out on a pre booked cruise to the blue cave the day after check-in because of the time it took trying to resolve the accommodation issue. As a client who is unable to view an apartment before paying, we go by what is advertised and displayed on your website. We had booked a few apartments for our vacation and all the others met the advertised standards.

Beautiful apartment. Spectacular views. Great facilities. It was expensive so it all should be but no complaints.

We absolutely loved the apartment! It was spacious enough for all of us, and the pool area was beautifully maintained, perfect for a relaxing swim. The air conditioning kept us cool and comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. All the little touches made it feel like a true holiday retreat. Location was good, a 10-15 minute walk and you were on the beach - a nice local beach but with no tourist amenities so come prepared. Getting to the local RIBOLA (Mini Super Market) shop was also easy again another 10-15 minute short walk.

The main bedroom felt a bit confined, and we occasionally experienced a sense of claustrophobia. Adding some wall decorations and removing the cupboards might improve the space, but it still featured a very large and comfortable bed. A few facilities needed attention, such as a broken umbrella on the balcony and non-functional hot tub jets on both sides. Check-in was quite strict, but it was manageable.

A short Uber ride from the harbour where most of the bars and restaurants are. Great value for money.

Hot tub was a little worse for wear

We had a 1st floor apartment which was beautiful with a stunning view. The pool was lovely to be able to cool down. The communication was fantastic when we checked in.

The mattress on the double bed was pretty hard and it would be good if there were some umbrellas around the pool for some shade.

Views were amazing from the top floor. Very clean stylish apartment. Lovely decor. Felt comfortable to live in. Adequate kitchenware etc. Comfy beds. Pool was just what we needed to cool down in the heatwave.

No lift which was hard with luggage and a hard finish after a walk up from the city or beach. No plug to use jacuzzi bath. Could have done with some umbrella shade at the pool.
