Hotel Bodega Tio Pepe

Ubicación muy conveniente en el barrio histórico entre la catedral y el alcázar. El bar de la piscina estaba cerrado en la época que fuimos, de todos modos a la noche nos sentamos a disfrutar las vistas increíbles de la catedral y disfrutar una copita de jerez (que compramos ese mismo día durante la visita a la bodega)

El desayuno es a la carta pero resultó un poco confuso

Stunning view from the rooftop. Wonderful breakfast, and beautiful rooms. Helpful staff and all within reach of some of the finest sherry.

No staff manning the facility on the rooftop so had to go to reception to ask for drinks or ice. An honesty bar would be a lovely idea here.

We sat in the garden for breakfast every morning. It was fabulous.

Our room was excellent but didn’t have a view.

Beautiful, centrally located hotel with amazing views from the rooftop bar and pool. All the staff were so exceptionally helpful. Loved the welcome coffee in the garden too. Breakfast was good.

We had a ground floor room near reception was a little noisy.

The location and the Tio Pepe sherry tour was fantastic. We particularly liked where the hotel was -nicest part of the town. Staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough to help and provide excellent customer service. Quality of room was good but ours was on the small side. We could have had a bigger room. We saw one with two windows looking out onto the cathedral which looked fantastic.

We stayed after the Ferier and the hotel felt a bit closed. The bar area was scruffy with empty cardboard boxes lying around. The garden which could be a main feature needed care and attention. We received an email offering us 10% discount at the restaurant which wasn’t open on the Sunday and Monday we were there. We asked to have lunch on the Tuesday and it was a very limited menu. If you want the benefit of the restaurant which is clearly very nice then check it’s open when you plan to visit

Nothing it was all fantastic

The hotel is a beautiful small boutique hotel perfectly situated in Jerez. It is central, and close to the main square, Plaza de Arenal. Easy walking distance to many good restaurants and tapas bars. We stayed in a deluxe room which had a view to the next door cathedral, very dramatic. The room itself was simple but elegant, with a large bathroom with excellent facilities. The room was very clean, and the bed made up each day and toiletries replenished. Breakfast was plentiful and the hot selections were cooked to order and delicious. Local meats, etc were also available to try. The hotel also has a roof terrace with a small plunge pool, a bar and great views over historic Jerez. All of the staff were truly outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. From organising tours in advance of arrival, arranging taxis, recommending good restaurants and just generally being extremely friendly and providing superb service. We had a fantastic 4 night stay here, in what was one of the best small European hotels we have stayed in. If you’re looking for a centrally located, quality establishment then look no further. Thoroughly recommended.

We did not have breakfast at Tio Pepe. The location of the hotel was exceptional - within walking distance to all the big attractions, located within close proximity to the central town and also to the train station.

Brilliant location - within touching distance of the Alcazar, the Cathedral and the Tio Pepe tour.
