The Mighty Fraser Motel

Communication was great! Check in was a breeze and the unit had everything we need for a quick stay. AC was strong enough to cool the place and the bathroom was very spacious.

The people were pleasant and made you feel welcome.

Temp of 108, room AC not adequate (motel built 40S?AC added room unit not capable of cooling room). Restaurant on premesis (cool).BUT the AC was broken and the temp was 100+ inside. Glad it was a one night stay only.It

Above the historic Fraser river and the railway. An amazing feat build that through the mountains along with the highway of many tunnels. Close Hell's gate an amazing jiint Usa/Canda project to save the salmon runs. History makes the trip more enjoyable but the nature is also quite spectacular.

Cleaning lady was quite nice but we would not have been able to check in had she not been there. We arrived at 8:00PM which is not unreasonable to expect there to be a front desk attendant at. Shout out to her for being a real gem but the rest of the situation was miserable. The unit we stayed in was attached to some sort of housing or long-term rental situation and the walls were PAPER thin. The room itself was falling apart and was clearly an afterthought designed to increase occupancy. Felt like a Vancouver special in terms of being just tacked on to an existing unit. Do not believe the pictures. We paid 120 dollars expecting a reasonable room and were clearly catfished. When we checked out which was not overly early for a hotel (7:30 AM), the front-desk was once again closed and we had to call the owner who had advised us to lock the door and leave our keys in the room. I understand that this is a small operation and don't expect round the clock service, but expecting someone to be there from 6AM to 10PM is pretty standard for a small town hotel/motel. Also not advertised: This place is right next to a trailer park and has buildings with broken out glass sitting right next to the units. Not a great look and definitely not in the pictures. Don't be fooled like I was. The people associated with the business were friendly enough, but this is clearly some sort of money grab. I could have handled any one of the above gripes alone, but in concert it's unacceptable.

An average experience, bed was comfortable everything else was so so. Not too many options in this area tho'.....

Staff is super friendly, food was fantastic. Its more the surroundings. The room I had was renovated poorly. I mean everything was functioning but I still think the owner should get a few things done "properly". Like the cables for the main light in the room are in a cable channel but the channels are floating around. The shower is working but it is just a question of time when it breaks. Miner things but it added up. I think they can do better. Food was great in the evening but unfortunately I couldn't try breakfast because hey were closed

Unique little spot along Trans Canada 1. Buildings are a little run down but the rooms were nice and management was kind and efficient.

Dirty bathroom with dead spider on floor. Baseboards dirty floor needed to be washed. Got shock when turning on light in bathroom. Tv remote so sorry couldn’t even touch and when Tv came on so fuzzy you couldn’t watch
