The Voy

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Zimmer sauber. Sehr schön war auch die Überraschung für unseren Hund im Zimmer.

Die Heizung im Zimmer war extrem laut.

Clean and comfy room. I would recommend it.

Both my traveling companion and I enjoyed a good breakfast.

Perhaps the wooden stairs from the restaurant down to the motel rooms.

The room is recently renovated, with marble covered bureau, and a comfortable bed. It was clean and lovely, I like the design of the lamps, and the great washroom. I like the lighted mirror, the spacious shower and the efficient toilet (yes, I was impressed with that washroom). The bar fridge is in a bureau, so there are two surfaces for my suitcase. I could use the desk for my computer. The Voy is associated with a restaurant, Rosie's and Josie's, and a gas station/convenience store. I ate supper and breakfast at the restaurant. The food was excellent! I had a wonderful club sandwich and a very tasty cocktail in the evening, and for breakfast, the best veggie omelette that I have ever had. The restaurant is lovely with great, friendly staff. The gas station price were well below the price in nearby Terrace Bay. The convenience store and gas station is 24 hour. This likely means I could have arrived late if needed for my room, since the convenience store attendant had the key for me. I will definitely time my drives across northern Ontario to allow me to stay here again.

It was surprisingly quiet because the motel doesn't face the highway but is at a right angle. There is nothing that I didn't like.
