Very clean. Friendly staff.

A bit of a musty smell and windows don’t open

The female staff member was very friendly when I saw her at check out the next day.

The inn registration was in a casino/bar, which seemed quite strange. The male staff who checked me in overcharged me by $10 when I checked in, and the patrons as well as the staff member looked unwelcoming. The filter light on the air conditioning was on, signaling that it was overdue for a change -- the smell coming from the air conditioning smelled bad too. The AC was also so loud, we had to turn it off at night to sleep. The rooms were stuffy and the white sheets were stained with dark stains.

We really enjoyed our stay at the River Inn. It was a little intimidating to go check in at the bar at 10 pm but it was pretty quiet and the service was very helpful! You could hear the bar music through the floor but not to a disturbing degree. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable. If we are coming through Nipawin again we’d be likely to stay again.
