WangShi China Palace B&B

It was weird. Had oriental look to a lodge type building. Bed not properly dressed, no top sheet. The room appeared very clean, but had unpleasant Oder upon entry. Bathroom was clean.

I didn’t want to leave come check out time. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the roof clean and beautiful, all the amenities were top notch. We were in awe at the beauty of the entrance and then welcomed with champagne. The two ladies that checked us in were friendly, professional, and so kind. We passed over the very luxurious looking pool (which we ended up using in the morning - was a perfect temperature.) The room was clean and had gorgeous details. The curtains, the light fixtures, all had been thought out and made to make you feel like you really are in a palace. The beds were plush and the blankets were soft, I slept really well. There were robes and slippers awaiting us and I spent nearly the entire time in both. The slippers were plush and felt great on my feet. The robe was light and airy, made with material that felt nice on my skin. The bathroom was so nice I took several showers just because it was like being at a spa. If I can give you a tip, splurge for a room with a balcony, there beautiful scenery and we watched baby deer run around and play from above. If you're looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable lodging experience, the WangShi China Palace is it! It's best described as a cross between a boutique hotel and B&B - with a distinctly Chinese flair in a "Brady Bunch" style home which was expanded to accommodate 24 guest rooms. It's a little kitchy, and the public areas are a little out-dated - but we felt it was all part of the charm. This place ended up being a terrific choice for our extended weekend getaway. The hosts were kind and did all they could to ensure we were well-taken care of. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and the amenities nice to have. At first, we were a little concerned it might be too far away from downtown OKC, where most of our time would be spent, but we didn't mind the 13 minute drive. We ended up not taking advantage of the free limo service - but that's an option if you prefer not to drive. My family enjoyed feeling like we were at a retreat when we were there. Our only complaints were that the air flow in our room (the "Family Room") was a little wonky and the hot tub located next to the indoor pool was out of service. (The pool was perfect). If you're looking for a hotel that's walking distance to anything... this won't be a good choice. However, if you don't mind the more remote nature of the location (which again, isn't really that far from downtown) and you have more of an "adventurous" spirit - this is worth checking in to!

This place is UNREAL, it almost feels like a dream, tucked away in the outskirts of OKC, feels like you are in a bubble of comfort. Custom made breakfast, an incredible unique pool with a bridge over top with a sitting area, and a SUPERB entryway with waterfalls and a cool fish tank. The only small negative was the room was hard to keep cool BUT it was also 100 degrees outside LITERALLY. LOVE this place and will definitely be back!

Everyone there was super nice. The place is very unique & secluded. The owners go out of their way to please & accommodate guests. Food was good. Our only complaint was that it wasn’t cool enough inside. The air conditioner in our room didn’t keep our room cool enough.

This is a really neat one-of-a-kind place. Everyone was really nice and accommodating. In particular, after contacting them ahead of time, they made sure there were gluten and dairy free alternatives for breakfast during our stay. It is located in a quiet area in the outskirts of OKC but still less than 15 min away from attractions like the zoo and science museum, as well as a number of restaurants.
