Harana Surf Resort - Hostel

Location and personnel were awesome as well as the amenities and the rooms. Bartender Ian was great!

Amazing location right on the beach, lovely restaurant and very helpful, kind staff, good breakfast

Just be aware that every saturday night the hotel has the biggest party on the island, don't expect to be able to sleep early! If this is your thing then perfect, and if not then the music finishes at midnight, but this was a bit of a surprise for us, luckily it is only once a week and the rest of our stay was very peaceful

Staff were super friendly, grounds were lush and beautiful and loved the waterfront location. Close to lots of great options for food and coffee-we loved Coco Frio, Shaka smoothie bowls, and Lamari.

Wish coffee would have been available earlier in the morning(especially before a surfing sessions). Would have loved a few more options on the breakfast menu as well.

Neighbouring hostel was a bit loud but they generally stopped their noise/music by 11pm

Great quality. It’s very much a resort with a restaurant and private pool and beach area super nice. Very safe for solo female traveler as well. All the staff were so kind as well

The showers ran out of water sometimes during busy times but there’s water tubs there just in case.

Grundsätzlich war es ein gutes Hotel. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet und die Anlage sehr schön gestalltet. Man ist schnell am Cloud 9 und in General Luna. Wir konnten über das Hotel einen Roller mieten, mit welchem wir die Insel erkunden konnten. Die Zimmer sind zwar eher klein aber gut ausgestattet und die Betten bequem.

Hier gibt es doch drei Punkte die zu erwähnen sind: 1. Der Strand- und Poolbereich sind nicht wirklich einladend, der Pool ist sehr klein und die Schattenmöglichkeiten sehr begrenzt. Ebenfalls ist das Meer nicht geeignet um zu baden. 2. Jeden Samstag findet eine riesige Party auf dem gesamten Hotelgelände statt (von 8 Uhr bis 12 Uhr). Und wurde dies beim Check In mitgeteilt und wäre auch absolut kein Problem gewessen, was uns aber wirklich gestört und angewiedert hat, war als ein Partygast neben unser Bungalow uriniert hat und mir dann erklärt hat das ein Hotelangestellter ihr die Erlaubnis gegeben habe, sich neben unserem Bungalow zu erleichtern! Absolut inakzeptabel. Als wir die Hotelangestellten darauf aufmerksam gemacht haben, kam keine Reaktion und unsere Beschwerde wurde gekonnt ignoriert! 3. Wir waren nun doch einige Zeit in den Philippinen unterwegs und haben an ALLEN Orten wo wir waren freundlicheres und zuvorkommenderes Personal als in diesem Hotel.
