Wild Dunes Inn

I loved the space and the fact that we had the beach a couple steps away!!

Staff was SUPER nice, loved them! Covered parking below the rooms so we didn't get wet in the rain. Best part was being right next to the boardwalk. The only reason we were able to get this hotel was because we went in October during the off season. Don't think it would have been worth staying in the on season even with how close it was. Bed was super uncomfortable. TVs were out of date and had weird problems with the screen not reaching the tv edges, also some of the remotes like for the dvd player didn't work. Our toilet got clogged and we asked for service and they never ended up sending someone. We bought our own plunger cuz it was easier lol! We were confused about where to check in, so we called. Turns out it's related to the Impala Inn, where you go to check in.

I have to say that stepping into this room, it was like stepping into a time warp (I loved it) All of your basic need were met. This property, was very clean and the staff were all very friendly. We stayed off season, so the noise level was very low. I can imagine in the summer with the roller coaster right across the street it could be loud. Parking was ok the parking garage is really tight, but you are guaranteed one spot per room.

We like the location because it is close to the boardwalk and beach. We selected this property because it advertises Smoke Free environment and family friendly. Unfortunately one of the guest decided the rules didn't apply to them! We mentioned it to the staff and they addresses the problem quickly. All of the staff are pleasant, polite and willing to see that you enjoy your stay! We will be returning as soon as we can!

Condo was a little small, but the inn is located across street from roller coaster. If it wasn't for being off season and amusement park closing early, would have been problem!

Convenient. The internet connection was very erratic and finally did not work. The room otherwise was well-equipped.

We have stayed at this property many years ago and were not disappointed during this visit. However, as we age, we were dismayed that the bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were terrible. We are now home and trying to recover from all of the aches and pains of sleeping in these conditions for a week. Thankfully, we took our own pillows! The website should specify to bring your own cooking utensils, etc. We had one frying pan with no lid and the teflon was flaking off, so we couldn't eat what we cooked. It would also be significant to note that the dishwasher does not include detergent. We were VERY APPRECIATIVE that the bathroom was handicap accessible! We will definitely return - hope next year, God willing!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Wild Dunes Inn. The check-in, pool, outdoor shower to get the sand off, the room, the housekeeping...we were happy with all of it. The bathroom had a funky smell to it, but it was clean! They accommodated us with a pack and play for our little guy (it wasn't super comfortable...we'd bring his little mattress next time). The location was PERFECT! The worst thing was the neighbors down the hall who were insanely loud at night but overall we totally enjoyed our stay!

I have stayed at this property in the past. We had a smoker in the room next to us at first and then a neighbor who stayed outside their room with others until after 1:00 a.m. making a lot of noise. Also door was broke and didnt lock right. 2 year old kept being able to open it by herself. Not safe for kids
