The Social House Nairobi, a Preferred Lifestyle Hotel

I recently stayed at The Social House in Nairobi for a business trip and it turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere of the place stood out — relaxed, vibrant and very welcoming, which made a big difference after long workdays. What I appreciated the most was the staff. The team is young, energetic and genuinely attentive. The service felt very natural and friendly, without ever losing professionalism. Everyone was approachable and helpful, and it created a warm environment that made the stay feel easy and comfortable. Even though I was in Nairobi mainly for work, the hotel managed to offer a great balance between productivity and relaxation. The overall vibe of the property makes it easy to unwind between meetings, whether enjoying a drink, spending some quiet time in the common areas, or simply taking in the atmosphere. Breakfast was another positive note: the selection is not huge, but everything is clearly chosen with care and the quality is very good. It felt fresh and well prepared rather than overly abundant, which I personally prefer. Overall, The Social House is a place with personality — stylish, friendly, and full of positive energy. It’s perfect for business travelers who appreciate a relaxed but well-run environment. I would definitely come back on my next trip to Nairobi.

I had such an amazing stay at The Social House in Nairobi is one of those places that just gets everything right. From the second I walked in, the staff were absolute stars. So warm, genuinely friendly, and always one step ahead without ever being overbearing. They made the whole experience feel personal and effortless. My room was stylish, snug, and incredibly comfortable, just the kind of space that feels thoughtfully designed and easy to relax in after a day in the pulsing streets of Nairobi. The rooftop bar is a whole mood. Lively, buzzy, and full of great energy, it’s the perfect spot to sip a cocktail and soak in the atmosphere with a live DJ. The location is also spot-on, making it super easy to get around and explore Nairobi. But the real magic? Breakfast. Every morning felt like stepping into a hidden garden oasis. Sitting by the pool, surrounded by lush greenery in that dreamy, Eden-like setting, was honestly the highlight of my stay. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It was the most peaceful way to start the day with excellent coffee! I’d go back in a heartbeat. The Social House is such a special little gem.

What a delightful stay. Comfortable rooms, wonderful staff and dining options with flair. The staff alone made the visit worthwhile. Everyone without exception was welcoming and helpful. I had to move at the last minute from another hotel that was noisy due to night construction, and Shantivia and Angel went above and beyond to find me the quietest room that they could. I also appreciated the morning coffee shop fellow's help for me to get pastries for my workshop, and Enoch's gracious help with my baggage on my departure. Thank you to everyone.

The hotel services are great and enjoyed how I was treated.I got to witness a colleague told me is called (Yonah) cleaning the room and it was splendid ,a dedicated staff who knows what he is doing.I enjoyed the treatment at the room and ensured he is not interrupting with what I was doing at the time. Kudos Yonah housekeeping.

This hotel will forever be on my short list of favorite hotels. I became very ill during my stay and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of. The front desk staff was consistently genuine and polite. The housekeeping staff was pleasant and the restaurant staff was very good and attentive. Our drivers Benson and Peter made sure we had a great time running errands. Benson took us on a very long hike through karura forest and it was lovely. This boutique hotel is centrally located with the shopping mall steps away. Everything was amazing! The only feedback I would give is that the pillows in the room are not very good or soft. I would stay here again whenever in Nairobi and will recommend this to anyone who asks.

Fantastic ambience, great service, warm reception from the guards to the hotel staff. The food served at the Other room is always great. We've conferencing here for 7 weeks now only good things to say.
