Valentinos Restaurant With Rooms

The room was of a good size and very comfortable. I loved the coffee machine and the Italian biscuits. The bathroom had a great shower and good quality towels. Breakfast was unusual and delicious. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful.

Nothing. I wish that I could have stayed longer and eaten my way through the menu at the restaurant as well.

Amazing hospitality done in an the best way - one that seems effortless which is actually the product of a lot of thought, passion and graft. The team were all welcoming and super-helpful, the room itself was styled and kitted out in a way that was slick and functional. A really comfy bed, a great fan which was a godsend in the heatwave, a coffee machine and a fridge with both milk for tea and mineral water (glass bottles - big tick) that you are welcome to ask to be topped up. Also a little jar with probably the best biscotti/cantucci I've ever had. Breakfast was another story altogether - again, the best hotel breakfast I've had in years, and leagues above anything else you'd expect in the UK. Hats off to the team behind this.. it looks as if they are doing really well and they deserve every success.

Nothing. Some people might slip a disc because there's not a 24 front desk with a corporate drone telling them they can't have what they need/want at 2am. Let them do that, and stay away. If you're looking for real comfort, genuine hospitality and amazing food... look no further.

The rooms were comfortable and had en-suites. The Breakfast was very good - reminded us of wonderful holidays in Italy.

The room was quite warm due to the heatwave - the cooling fan helped a lot.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was comfortable and we were glad of the small fridge for some food items we had. Close to centre of Ripon.

Somewhere close outside the room window was the kitchen extractor fan and its hum was noticeable whenever the downstairs restaurant was working. With the windows tight shut the noise was very much reduced but it was a warm couple of nights we were there and we needed the windows open.
