In this case, location is a negative aspect of this property, unfortunately. I only stayed one night, which happened to be a Saturday night before a Sunday morning flight. I was in room 12, which is in the back of the property, on the third floor. This exposes the room to all of the nightclub noise coming from establishments near the zocalo. I realize this is not the hotel’s fault, but it was really impossible to ignore and was constant until it stopped at 2:00 am. I imagine it’s a completely different story during the week, and perhaps in other rooms. Without the noise this would have been a perfect stay. If you are able to sleep with earplugs or through constant bass, then I recommend staying here on a weekend. If not, stick to weeknights or find a place set further away from all of the action/nightlife.

The photos do not do this place justice - it is so much more beautiful in person. The option to start every day with a delicious breakfast made to order in the garden is such a treat. This staff at this hotel is super attentive, professional, and friendly. It is located right in the heart of one of the most special neighborhoods in Coyoacan. I would absolutely return!

A niveau de la chambre, la chaise du bureau est très inconfortable. Egalement, la lumière n'est pas adaptée pour travailler à la chambre.

The men on staff were always very polite and helpful (compared to the women who worked in the "office" area). The upper lounge was a very nice area and that part of the Inn would be an ideal spot to have one's room. The location was very close to central Coyoacan so it was easy to walk everywhere.

We were put in Room #1 which is right next to the front gate and faces the main courtyard where people gather, talk, let their children run around, etc. Because there is no sound proofing, that meant we heard people at all times plus the bell every time someone entered the property. The gate is always locked (which is understandable) but the noise from the bell meant we did not get much sleep. Side note: Rooms 1-5 face the courtyard so consider that if you are making a reservation. Also the "hot" water never really got hot, which made the soaker tub in the bathroom worthless.
