The Tower House B&B

Michael the host was very friendly and helpful with everything. The room was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean and fresh. Plenty of tea/coffee/water in the room for refreshments and a great blackout blind for sleeping. The rooms are almost motel style with windows looking out onto the river which was a lovely start to the morning and I was delighted that privacy curtains were there for letting light in! Lots of parking in/around the BnB. Breakfast was delicious with a pot of coffee, sourdough toast (with lots of real butter!), granola, yoghurt and of course a cooked breakfast- fabulous!!

The check out time on booking.com said 12, but it’s actually 11am. Also maybe a note or info about when is best to check in would have been helpful as I had to attend a later dinner before arrival and I would have organised myself differently- though it was no issue at all in the end.

The location was fine, but bit lacking in eaterys,

No chairs to sit on,coffe machine ,but need to read manual to work! Bedside lights were on touch pad,but no instructions to use,no reading in bed!

Lovely location and very friendly owner who seemed run off their feet. The room was clean and pretty. The bedside lights didn't work, the coffee machine didn't work the water pressure in the shower was poor. Theres a glimpse of the lovely river Nore from the balcony which we liked. I stay here regularly and its usually reliable. Just this time, those little things matter!

Rooms very warm on arrival, completely understand that is to make sure rooms are comfortable etc, probably just a personal preference.
