The cabins are terribly small. The pictures don’t quite show how small. The mattress was dented by bodyweight. It is quite noisy. The person sleeping on the cabin above/below is that close to you, there is unavoidably a lot of unwanted noise. The city tax makes this, for what it is, not worth its money.

Great place to stay, for a great price. Only recommendation would be to upgrade the beds, ours was a little lumpy and needs to be replaced but was still comfortable enough for a good nights sleep.

Could be a bit noisy with overlapping cubicles, but for the most part it doesn’t last long and nothing ear plugs won’t solve. Lots of amenities including shared kitchen for those on a budget and breakfast brunch for a fee for convenience.

Everything was good except that the duvet smells like it has been washed for a long time. But overall excellent customer service. All of the staff were very nice and friendly.

Whilst the idea of having a cheap hostel that has individual rooms is a great one, the Fuzzy Log just misses the mark on so many little things. The small rooms are so hot, and the Aircon barely works. This is partly because the unit is installed with the air blowing out straight into a wall and inch away rather than into the room. There are sharp metal coat hooks directly opposite the ladder out of the bed. Twice I sliced my wrists putting a hand out to balance myself climbing down. Rounded rubber/plastic hooks are a very cheap fix. There were 3 blocks of 4 toilets for many rooms, and one set was out. The toilets were constantly hot and full of steam, with the floors absolutely soaked as there is no drain in them. On the plus side, the view is nice, and the staff were friendly. There is plenty of luggage stowage if you need it, and as it's essentially a hostel, plenty of people in the common areas which were also very nice and clean.

At the end of the day, this is a hostel and the price and quality of the stay reflects that. Having a small private cabin is fine for a short stay and the beds are relatively comfortable. I found a few small hairs on the bedsheets but generally cleanliness in the room was adequate. The “soundproofing” that is advertised is not particularly good and you can hear talking and doors closing from the corridor, so bring earplugs to avoid this. The bathrooms had questionable cleanliness and were frequently left in a slightly messy state, though that’s more a reflection on guest behaviour than the cleaners who generally seemed to do a good job. The location is extremely convenient and it’s just a 5 minute walk to the old town, or 5 minutes in the opposite direction to the train and bus stations.

The staff was incredibly responsive. I had a complicated itinerary and they helped me keep it organized and booked correctly. The property itself is like other Ibis hotels - simple, safe, clean, and economical.

As casas de banho não eram limpas com a regularidade que deviam. Havia sempre muito cabelo nos chuveiros, chão molhado e falta de papel. Quanto ao quarto estava limpo mas podiam colocar um caixote do lixo. Apesar de ter muita gente, não ouvi barulho de noite.
