Great location. Quiet, away from the busyness of the main street through town. Clean facilities, nice and helpful staff.

We enjoyed the at home feeling, were there for a week. Room clean and quiet.

Conditions were great, with the exception of three-wheeled luggage carts and hydrostatic doors…. Makes it very challenging to operate single handily, normally not an issue…. But for $130 per night in Monahans, Tx, needs to be a little more accessible for the price. All being said, was a very well managed property

The Fairfield Inn is a very nice budget-priced hotel with a large, covered arrival zone for unloading luggage. The breakfast was good and featured omelettes and tasty egg souffles with sundried tomatoes. There is an oatmeal bar which includes walnut and pecan halves along with several other toppings. The oatmeal had too much water content and therefore, was a bit sloppy. The meat was bacon strips. The staff was able to accommodate my request for a ground floor room. If traveling westbound on I-20, the hotel is close to exit 82. Slow down to ensure you can turn on Stuart Avenue. I shot past the road and turned into the lot next door which is paved with crushed rock and very rough. Overall, I was very comfortable, the room was very quiet and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

If traveling solo, getting a luggage-filled cart into the room is an awkward challenge because the door closer is very strong and the door is very heavy. The heavy door likely helps with soundproofing, but the closer needs adjusting. Next time, I'll bring a heavy-duty door stop because even a heavy chunk of luggage is not enough to keep the door open when needed.
