"An exceptional property. Well managed."

Excellent renovation of the old castle. Very smart, high quality. Good restaurant. Fabulous museum. Nice staff.

Beds weren't that comfortable. Only one pillow per bed. Lots of noise outside at 6:30am from truck unloading.

This is such a cool experience if you want to say you slept in a castle. The hike to get there is a lil strenuous, maybe that's why it's labeled for youth. 🥵 staff was really friendly and breakfast was great! Highly recommend.

Mooi museum: verblijf incl. entree. Prachtige omgeving en uitzicht. Vriendelijk personeel. Simpel maar meer dan genoeg ontbijt.

"Sympathischer Ort in toller Lage"

Die Jugendherberge Burgdorf ist eine Jugendherberge. Wer Jugendherbergen kennt, weiß, was ich damit sagen möchte. Die Jugendherberge ist aber sehr gut organisiert. Unser Zweibettzimmer lag nicht in dem Trakt, wo die Jugendgruppen schliefen. Die jungen Menschen waren ruhig, sympathisch und verhielten sich geordnet in einer Form wie wir es in Deutschland nicht mehr so recht gewohnt sind. Die Jugendherberge hat eine wunderschöne Lage und das Museum in der Burg ist absolut sehenswert für alle, ob jung oder alt. Man kann (nach Anmeldung ) auch abends dort essen, Jugendherbergsessen oder a la carte. Letzteres ist natürlich teuerer.

Uns hat alles gefallen.
