39 St. George

We booked the room with ceiling made of stone arches. It’s just as pictured! So cool. Ground floor unit. Cool restaurants right outside but it was never loud. Nice bathroom and shower is big enough for 2!

Séjour de 3 jours sur Gozo dont 2 nuits à 39 St George. Très grande chambre, avec 1 baignoire et 1 douche, très bien situé au coeur du centre historique, à 5 minutes à pied de la gare routière d'où partent tous les bus pour découvrir Gozo. Très bien accueillis, petit déjeuner très bien, très copieux, personnel serviable. Je recommande cet établissement et y reviendrai si l'occasion se présentait.

The location of the hotel is in a really cute courtyard with shops and restaurants. It's centrally located so it was easy getting around town. Our room was really pretty, clean and there was a koi pond out the bathroom window. The continental breakfast was wonderful! It was so much food, I had to ask for less the second day. Some reviews we read has issues with the church bells ringing, but wasn't a bother for us. We will definitely stay there again!

hôtel très bien situé, plein centre ville. Chambre spacieuse propreté impeccable. seul bémol le petit déjeuner dans un café en face l hôtel, et pas de contact avec l hébergeant Toutefois je recommande.

Abbiamo alloggiato per due notti nell'attico dell'hotel nel periodo Pasquale, quindi abbiamo avuto il piacere di essere spettatori privilegiati del rituale pasquale che si è svolto nella piazza sottostante il nostro terrazzino. La camera era molto ampia, arreda con cura e con attenzione ai dettagli. La colazione, non abbondante, ma bastevole veniva servita nei ristoranti immediatamente di fronte o a lato all'ingresso del piccolo hotel. La posizione è perfetta per visitare la città di Rabat e tutta Gozo, inoltre poco distante è presente la stazione dei bus ed un parcheggio gratuito per l'auto.

The accommodation is very central, St George’s Square and number 39 are architecturally very charming.

When we booked the 39St George we were unaware that it was not a hotel, but a B&B. Therefore, the services were extremely limited. The lovely young woman who gave us our key worked as a waitress in the two cafes in the square (where breakfast is provided) and therefore is rarely in the B&B. For an older couple and one who needs services and advice about the area, this is not a property to choose. However, the room was pleasant even though the window faces a wall, a shaft. Getting the penthouse is probably the best option. It is in a very good part of Victoria.

Die Appartements sind sehr gemütlich und bieten alle Annehmlichkeiten Nach der ersten Übernachtung klappte es mit dem Frühstück sehr gut. Am zweiten Tag wirkte alles etwas chaotisch. Wir mussten erst die Mitarbeiterin zweimal ansprechen,dass wir frühstücken wollten. Man war mit Renovierung und Reinigung eines der Lokale beschäftigt,welches als Frühstückslokal angegeben war. Nach einer Wartezeit von zwanzig Minuten tauchte dann ein Koch auf und man kümmerte sich um uns. Aber wir frühstücken ungern mit schlechtem Gewissen, weil wir beim Renovieren und Putzen gestört haben. Gegen die Qualität des Frühstücks gibt es nichts einzuwenden. Man hat die Wahl zwischen warm und kalt. Es ist sehr reichhaltig mit lokaler Kost wie z.B. Käse und Obst.

Lovely old building but very modern inside. Excellent location for exploring Victoria( Rabat). Would have liked the choice of a continental breakfast
